Objective: Advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through seven areas of focus, especially Peace and Conflict Resolution. Engage in dialogues and projects that promote positive peace in our community and around the globe.

 

Key Areas of Focus: Diminishing the root causes of conflict: the need for food, water, shelter, health care, literacy, economic opportunity, and human rights.

 

Activities: Engage in activities that break the cycle of devastation and despair. Create an environment of peace by supporting education and literacy, clean water, sanitation and hygiene, access to healthcare, protection of the environment, and community economic development. Engage in programs and projects that directly support peace and conflict resolution, including those that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, and which promote anti-bullying and conflict resolution activities.

 

Environment: The world is dealing with unprecedented conditions that challenge the establishment of peace in our communities and throughout the world.
